There’s plenty to discover and experience in Übach-Palenberg, such as the blue water tower of the former Carolus Magnus hard coal mine, the St. Petrus chapel, Schloss Rimburg palace, the Roman bathhouse in the Wurmtal valley and Schloss Zweibrüggen palace. Recreational areas such as the Willy-Dohmen park with its rhododendrons, or the Wurmtal valley with its meadows and lakes, the Fietscafé, minigolf and pedal boat trips, offer numerous activities. Last but not least, there’s also the adventure pool (“Ü-Bad”) with its 85 m slide, as well as the excellent cycle route network.
